Wankers rejoice! Today we’re going heavy on the porn.
- There’s nothing quite like a little Brazilian amateur porn to get your weekend started. The impromptu snaps and occasional videos on this salacious porn blog are downright mouthwatering. [Brasileirinhas Blog]
- A little while back I mentioned Socialporn, my favorite Porn 2.0 site. It seems they now have a sister site in Israel. If Hebrew is your preferred language of love it’s worth a look. [like.co.il]
- A wise man once said there are only two kinds of people in the world: those who wank it to hentai and those who don’t. While I count myself among the latter group, I find myself addicted to this Flickr-like site for hentai enthusiasts. [danbooru]
- A torrid ethnorotic love triangle in the geeky world of competitive chess? Who woulda thunk it? [MeFi]

I totally want to buy the figurine.
- Lipstick lesbians being the obsession of adolescents everywhere, the internets have been buzzing about Batwoman coming down with a case of the gay, but apparently she’s only one part of a larger project within the comic industry to introduce more minority superheroes. My personal fave is Socialist Red Guardsman, pictured above. [New York Times]
- When I first read about the China Daily’s Most Beautiful Blogger contest I was thinking “this story is useless without pictures.” Luckily the pervs over at Asian Sirens came through with some tantalizing images of “Hedgehog Mu Mu.” [Asian Sirens]
- Britain may be the world’s fastest growing market for internet porn, but they’re only catching up to the rest of us. [The Register]

I thought I was done with the Monster Cocks this week. Honest. But somehow they keep rearing their giant, throbbing heads.
- Chick-lit may have lost its edge in the West around the time Fear of Flying headed into its second printing, but Indonesian author Ayu Utami demonstrates that in some parts of the world women who write about sex and relationships are still considered subversives. [Nerve]
- Playboy’s much-hyped Girls of MySpace edition turns out to be every bit as dull and lifeless as one would expect from a dull and lifeless publication. [Daily Niner]
- A giant sex theme park is set to open in London in order to help Brits become better lovers. Rumor has it all the attractions will focus on improved dental hygiene. Zing! [BBC News]
- Apparently, the “peg master” is racist. In this case I think my ass might actually be relieved. [Laura the Tooth]
- Whether or not Tyra Banks is actually racist, a lot of us wish this blathering idiot would just go away. [Slate]
- South Asian chicks are afraid of the BMW—aka Black Man’s Willy. The dogged persistence of the giant blacksnake stereotype stems from women spending more time talking about black men than they do interacting with black men. [Mixed Media Watch]

The Laughing Man is very happy today. Why, you ask? Because for only the third time in ethnorotica history he’s able to use the “Monster Cocks” tag.
- While it’s true that we’re a bunch of prudes here in the States, do the Germans really have to rub our faces in it by opening the world’s largest brothel? Ah, those silly Euros and their healthy attitude toward human sexuality—don’t they know sex is much hotter when you think you’re going to hell for it? [Telegraph Blogs]
- Africans pay $1,800 for 1GB of data. With my porn surfing habit I’d be broke within an hour. [CNN]
- You know those two-foot-long dongs featured on the box covers of Monster Cocks videos? They’re totally fake. I’m sure you’re just as shocked as I am. [Pornzio]
- I feel much the same about the term “women of color” as I do about the word “blog”: it’s probably the best anyone’s come up with thus far, but it still blows chunks. All the same, it’s nice to see women of color in the pasty-white BDSM scene get their due. [Fleshbot]

- Remember Japan Week? Neither do I. In case you missed it, you can catch up on four centuries of Japanese perversity at New York’s Museum of Sex. [Museum of Sex]
- News Flash! Spencer Tunick takes pictures of hundreds of nude Venezuelans. It’s different this time, really. [Yahoo News]
- I’m not sure why anyone cares whether Adriana Lima is a virgin—your chances of bagging her are about the same either way—but the GQ pictures do make one wonder: virgin or gangbang girl? [Hollywood Tuna]
- Apparently, mixed-race superbabies are all the rage these days. Cause, y’know, they’re just like dogs. [Mixed Media Watch]

The primary reason ethnorotica exists is to facilitate an ongoing conversation. As much as I might enjoy standing on my soap box or else ferreting out hot wank material, what really gets my juices flowing are people’s opinions and perspectives. For better or worse, we internet people live in an attention economy governed by power-law dynamics, so perpectives that fall outside the mainstream (even within this little sexbloggy world) often get overlooked.
Technorati is falling woefully behind the curve so I’m hand-curating a list of people who’ve posted about ethnorotica in recent days:
- “All those schupid arguments with sexually conservative bloggers calling themselves feminists, academics, lefties, THINKERS and I got a sex blogger who didn’t even need to come to me with any schupid conversation about how they’re trying to understand what the site is about and how they’re just worried that folks are going to open the site at work and get slapped on the wrist.” [Dark Daughta]
- “I do feel qualified to say that in both gender and ethnicity the mechanisms that let us stereotype each other and ourselves blind us over and over to our far broader and deeper similarities.” [Figleaf]
- “So to be fair, I’m sorry ethnorotica, this site isn’t that erotic…. unless you consider me talking about how I’ve been SO BUSY these days to clean my room that now I have absolutely NO CLUE where my “toy” is, to be erotic material! The site is ethnic though. But to make up for it, I will present you, what I think is my most erotic pic on public – my Halloween pic…” [Indian Girl Dating – Thanks!]
- “This very pretty site endeavors to present women of color in ways that transgress the fetishistic and thought-free formats of conventional mainstream porn. Come for the gorgeous women, stay for the clever and sly writing. It’s good-humored, intelligent and hott.” [Chelsea Girl]
- “Recently inspired by ‘Ethnorotica’ a wonderful blog by ‘Laughing Man’ (odd name eh?) I decided to seek out more galleries and sites that feature women of color in a postive manner. In particular I am going to work to find postive example of interracial lesbians. Unfortunely most ‘adult’ porn perpetuates negative stereo types of people of color.” [Lori]
- “Usually the only things we like to have challenged when we visit a porn site are our wrist muscles—but if you stick around long enough after visiting the introductory babe galleries at the newish Ethnorotica, you’ll be treated to some well-written and thoughtful musings on race, sex, porn, and popular culture.” [Fleshbot]
Oh, and FYI, you’ll all find out soon enough what the deal is with the name ‘Laughing Man.’
